Good and True

written by
Mary L. Ross

I look in the mirror, and it’s beauty that I see.

Cause somehow you’ve unlocked all the treasure in me.

It’s not an affliction, not some monster from underground.

Just your tender ways have brought me back home safe and sound.

I catch my breath and I smile, and I turn to you.

We're movin' mountains because our love is so good and true,

So good and true, so good ‘n’ true.

Some look to the heavens, tracing history by the stars.

Some rush in so quickly, seeking thrill to thrill and charge to charge.

I can’t find the words; it’s not a picture to fit a frame.

I’ve never known nothin’ like your love to ease my pain.

I catch my breath and I smile, and I turn to you.

We're movin' mountains because our love is so good and true,

So good and true, so good ‘n’ true.

There’s no spring or summer, no winter or fall when

My heart isn’t racing with the beauty of it all.

Your look is like magic.  It’s like sunshine streamin' through a pouring rain.

And, I’ve never known nothin’ like your love to ease my pain.

I catch my breath and I smile, and I turn to you.

We're movin' mountains because our love is so good and true,

So good and true, so good ‘n’ true.
